गुरु पूर्णिमा सनातन धर्म संस्कृति है। आदिगुरु परमेश्वर शिव दक्षिणामूर्ति रूप में समस्त ऋषि मुनि को शिष्यके रूप शिवज्ञान प्रदान किया था। उनके स्मरण रखते हुए गुरुपूर्णिमा मानाया याता है। गुरु पूर्णिमा उन सभी आध्यात्मिक और अकादमिक गुरुजनों को समर्पित परम्परा है जिन्होंने कर्म योग आधारित व्यक्तित्व विकास और प्रबुद्ध करने, बहुत कम अथवा बिना किसी मौद्रिक खर्चे के अपनी बुद्धिमता को साझा करने के लिए तैयार हों। इसको भारत, नेपाल और भूटान में हिन्दू, जैन और बोद्ध धर्म के अनुयायी उत्सव के रूप में मनाते हैं। यह पर्व हिन्दू, बौद्ध और जैन अपने आध्यात्मिक शिक्षकों / अधिनायकों के सम्मान और उन्हें अपनी कृतज्ञता दिखाने के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह पर्व हिन्दू पंचांग के हिन्दू माह आषाढ़ की पूर्णिमा (जून-जुलाई) मनाया जाता है।इस उत्सव को महात्मा गांधी ने अपने आध्यात्मिक गुरु श्रीमद राजचन्द्र सम्मान देने के लिए पुनर्जीवित किया। ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि व्यास पूर्णिमा वेदव्यास के जन्मदिन के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

कब और कैसी हुई गुरु पूर्णिमा मनाने की शुरुआत, क्या है इस दिन का महत्व

गुरु ब्रह्मा, गुरु विष्णु, गुरु देवो महेश्वरा: गुरु साक्षात परम ब्रह्मा, तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नम:।

अर्थ है- हे गुरु, आप देवताओं के समान हैं. आप ही भगवान ब्रह्मा हैं, आप ही भगवान विष्णु हैं और आप ही महेश हैं. आप देवताओं के देवता हैं. हे गुरुवर! आप सर्वोच्च प्राणी हैं. मैं नतमस्तक होकर आपको नमन करता हूं.

पंचांग के अनुसार, हर साल आषाढ़ महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष की पूर्णिमा तिथि के दिन को गुरु पूर्णिमा के रूप में मनाया जाता है. गुरु शब्द ‘गु’ और ‘रु’ से मिलकर बना है. इसमें गु का अर्थ अंधकार, अज्ञान से है तो वहीं रु का अर्थ दूर करना या हटाना है. इस तरह से गुरु वह है जो हमारे जीवन से अज्ञानता के अंधकार को दूर करते हैं और हमें ज्ञानी बनाते हैं. गुरु से ही जीवन में ज्ञान की ज्योति से सकारात्मकता आती है.

कब और कैसी हुई गुरु पूर्णिमा पर्व की शुरुआत 

कहा जाता है कि आषाढ़ पूर्णिमा के दिन को गुरु पूर्णिमा पर्व के रूप में मनाने की शुरुआत महर्षि वेद व्यास जी के 5 शिष्यों द्वारा की गई. हिंदू धर्म में महर्षि वेद व्यास को बह्मा, विष्णु और महेश का रूप माना गया है. महर्षि वेद व्यास को बाल्यकाल से ही अध्यात्म में गहरी रूचि थी. ईश्वर के ध्यान में लीन होने के लिए वो वन में जाकर तपस्या करना चाहते थे. लेकिन उनके माता-पिता ने इसके लिए उन्हें आज्ञा नहीं दी. तब वेद व्यास जी जिद्द पर अड़ गए. इसके बाद वेद व्यास जी की माता ने उन्हें वन में जाने की अनुमति दे दी. लेकिन माता ने कहा कि, वन में परिवार की याद आए तो तुरंत वापस लौट जाए. इसके बाद पिता भी राजी हो गए. इस तरह माता-पिता की अनुमति के बाद महर्षि वेद व्यास ईश्वर के ध्यान के लिए वन की ओर चले गए और तपस्या शुरू कर दी.

वेद व्यास जी ने संस्कृत भाषा में प्रवीणता हासिल की और इसके बाद उन्होंने महाभारत, 18 महापुराण, ब्रह्मसूत्र समेत कई धर्म ग्रंथों की रचना की. साथ ही वेदों का विस्तार भी किया. इसलिए महर्षि वेद व्यास जी को बादरायण के नाम से भी जाना जाता है.

कहा जाता है कि आषाढ़ माह के दिन ही महर्षि वेद व्यास जी ने अपने शिष्यों और ऋषि-मुनियों को श्री भागवत पुराण का ज्ञान दिया. तब से महर्षि वेद व्यास के 5 शिष्यों ने इस दिन को गुरु पूर्णिमा के रूप में मनाने और इस दिन गुरु पूजन करने की परंपरा की शुरुआत की. इसके बाद से हर साल आषाढ़ माह की पूर्णिमा के दिन को गुरु पूर्णिमा या व्यास पूर्णिमा के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा.

गुरु पूर्णिमा का महत्व 

शास्त्रों में भी गुरु को देवताओं से भी ऊंचा स्थान प्राप्त है. स्वयं भगवान शिव गुरु के बारे में कहते हैं, ‘गुरुर्देवो गुरुर्धर्मो, गुरौ निष्ठा परं तपः। गुरोः परतरं नास्ति, त्रिवारं कथयामि ते।।’ यानी गुरु ही देव हैं, गुरु ही धर्म हैं, गुरु में निष्ठा ही परम धर्म है. इसका अर्थ है कि, गुरु की आवश्यकता मनुष्यों के साथ ही स्वयं देवताओं को भी होती है.

गुरु को लेकर कहा गया है कि, 'हरि रूठे गुरु ठौर है, गुरु रूठे नहिं ठौर'. यानी भगवान के रूठने पर गुरु की शरण मिल जाती है, लेकिन गुरु अगर रूठ जाए तो कहीं भी शरण नहीं मिलती. इसलिए जीवन में गुरु का विशेष महत्व होतै है. मान्यता है कि आप जिसे भी अपना गुरु मानते हों, गुरु पूर्णिमा के दिन उसकी पूजा करने या आशीर्वाद लेने से जीवन की बाधाएं दूर हो जाती है.

3 जुलाई को स्नान-दान की आषाढ़ी पूर्णिमा है। आषाढ़ महीने की पूर्णिमा को गुरु पूर्णिमा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। आचार्य इंदु प्रकाश से जानिए पूर्णिमा के दिन कौन से उपाय करना शुभ होगा।

 3 जुलाई को आषाढ़ शुक्ल पक्ष की उदया तिथि पूर्णिमा और सोमवार का दिन है। पूर्णिमा तिथि 3 जुलाई को शाम 5 बजकर 9 मिनट तक रहेगी, उसके बाद श्रावण कृष्ण पक्ष की प्रतिपदा तिथि लग जाएगी।  3 जुलाई को स्नान-दान की आषाढ़ी पूर्णिमा है। आषाढ़ महीने की पूर्णिमा को गुरु पूर्णिमा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। हमारा भारत देश अनेक परंपराओं का साक्षी रहा है। इन्हीं परंपराओं में से एक है गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा।  प्राचीनकाल से ही भारत देश महान गुरु और उनके शिष्यों की जन्मस्थली रहा है। 

गुरु भारतीय संस्कृति का एक अहम हिस्सा हैं और उस संस्कृति को याद रखने के लिए ही आषाढ़ महीने की पूर्णिमा को गुरु पूर्णिमा का नाम दिया गया है।  गुरु पूर्णिमा के सापेक्ष में यह भी माना जाता है कि इसी दिन वेद व्यास जी ने वेदों का संकलन किया था और कई पुराणों, उपपुराणों व महाभारत की रचना भी इसी दिन पूर्ण हुई थी।  इसलिए इस दिन को व्यास पूर्णिमा भी कहा जाता है।  गुरु पूर्णिमा सभी गुरुओं को याद करने का, उन्हें नमन करने का दिन है। ऐसे में आचार्य इंदु प्रकाश से जानिए गुरु पूर्णिमा के दिन किए जाने वाले कुछ विशेष उपायों के बारे में। 

गुरु पूर्णिमा के दिन करें ये खास उपाय

1. अगर आप अपने किसी महत्वपूर्ण काम में सफलता पाना चाहते हैं तो इस दिन बेलपत्र से भगवान शंकर का पूजन करें।  साथ ही शिवलिंग पर बेल पत्र चढ़ाते समय 'ऊँ नमः शिवाय' मंत्र का जाप जरूर करें। ऐसा करने से आपको और आपकी संतान की तरक्की जरूर होगी। 

2. आपके घर और दुकान की तिजोरियां हमेशा भरी रहें, इसके लिए इस दिन 11 कौड़ियां लेकर, उन पर हल्दी से तिलक करके आज मां लक्ष्मी को चढ़ाएं और अगले दिन सुबह इन कौड़ियों को लाल कपड़े में बांधकर अपनी तिजोरी में रख लें। ध्यान रखें कि इस दिन से प्रत्येक पूर्णिमा के दिन इन कौड़ियों को अपनी तिजोरी से निकालकर माता के सम्मुख रखकर उन पर पुन: हल्दी से तिलक करें और फिर से अगले दिन उन्हें लाल कपड़े में बांध कर अपनी तिजोरी में रख लें। ऐसा करने से आपको धन की कोई भी कमी नहीं होगी। 

3. अगर एजुकेशन से संबंधित किसी काम को पूरा करने में आपको दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है तो उसमें सफलता पाने के लिए इस दिन देवी सरस्वती के इस मंत्र का 21 बार जप करें। मंत्र है- ‘ऊँ ऐं ह्रीं सरस्वत्यै नम:’ ऐसा करने से एजुकेशन संबंधी आपके सारे काम समय पर पूरे होंगे। 

4. अगर आप अपने लवमेट्स के साथ रिश्ते को और प्रगाढ़ करना चाहते हैं, तो इस दिन एक सफेद रंग का नया रुमाल लेकर, उस पर अपने लवमेट की पसंद का कोई अच्छा-सा परफ्यूम लगाएं और उस रुमाल को अपने लवमेट्स को गिफ्ट कर दें। ऐसा करने से लवमेट के साथ आपके रिश्ते में प्रगाढ़ता आएगी। 

5. अगर आपके दाम्पत्य जीवन में खुशियों की जगह गम ने दस्तक दे दी है, तो ऐसे में इस दिन रात को सोते समय अपने बेड के नीचे एक गोबर के उपले पर दो कपूर रखें। फिर कल के दिन उपले सहित कपूर को घर के मुख्य द्वार के बाहर जला दें। ऐसा करने से आपके दाम्पत्य जीवन में खुशियां ही खुशियां नजर आएंगी। 

6. अगर आप राजनीति के क्षेत्र में सफलता पाना चाहते हैं, तो आपको एक दुर्गा बीसा यंत्र लेकर देवी मां के सामने रखना चाहिए और देवी मां और यंत्र की विधि-पूर्वक पूजा करनी चाहिए।  साथ ही सिद्धकुंजिका स्तोत्र का पाठ करना चाहिए। इसके बाद देवी मां का आशीर्वाद लेकर आप उस दुर्गा बीसा यत्र को संभालकर अपने पास रख लें या गले में धारण कर लें।  ऐसा करने से आपको राजनीति के क्षेत्र में खूब सफलता मिलेगी। 

7. अगर आपकी संतान विद्या के क्षेत्र में विशेष उपलब्धियां हासिल करना चाहते हैं, तो उसकी सफलता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए इस दिन स्नान आदि से निवृत्त होकर भगवान विष्णु की विधि पूर्वक पूजा करें और पूजा के समय विद्या यंत्र की स्थापना करें। पूजा के बाद उस यंत्र को उठाकर अपने बच्चे के पढ़ाई वाले कमरे में स्थापित कर दें या फिर ताबीज में डलवाकर बच्चे के गले में पहना दें। ऐसा करने से आपकी संतान को विद्या के क्षेत्र में विशेष उपलब्धियां हासिल होगी। 

8. अगर आप अपने घर-परिवार को दूसरों की बुरी नजर से बचाए रखना चाहते हैं, तो इसके लिए इस दिन गोबर से बने उपले या कंडे पर 11 कपूर जलाकर पूरे घर में धूप दिखाएं।  साथ ही अगर आपका खुद का ऑफिस या कोई बिजनेस है, तो वहां पर भी कपूर की धूप जरूर दिखाएं। ऐसा करने से आपका घर-परिवार दूसरों की बुरी नजर से बचा रहेगा। 

 9. अगर आप अपने शत्रुओं की चाल से छुटकारा पाना चाहते हैं, तो इस दिन स्नान आदि के बाद कच्चा सफेद सूत का धागा लेकर तुलसी के पौधे के चारों ओर लपेट दें। साथ ही भगवान से प्रार्थना करें कि आपको कभी कोई भी शत्रु परेशान न करें। ऐसा करने से शत्रु की कोई भी चाल आप पर काम नहीं करेगी और आप एक टेंशन फ्री लाइफ जियेंगे। 

10. अगर आप कर्ज के बोझ से परेशान हैं, तो उससे जल्द से जल्द छुटकारा पाने के लिए इस दिन शाम के समय अपने घर के मन्दिर में घी का एक दीपक जलाकर श्री नारायण के मंत्र का 11 बार जप करें।  मंत्र है- ‘ऊँ नमो भगवते नारायणाय।’ ऐसा करने से आपको जल्द ही कर्ज से छुटकारा मिलेगा और आपको अच्छा महसूस होगा। 

11.अगर आप मनचाहा जीवनसाथी पाना चाहते हैं और अगर आपकी पहले से शादी हो चुकी है तो उसमें प्यार को बरकरार रखना चाहते हैं तो इस दिन साफ पानी में कुछ बूंद दूध, थोड़ा-सा केसर और लाल पुष्प डालकर शिवलिंग पर चढ़ाएं। ऐसा करने से आपको मनचाहा जीवनसाथी मिलेगा और आप दोनों के बीच प्यार बना रहेगा। 

12. अगर आप अपने कारोबार में वृद्धि सुनिश्चित करना चाहते हैं तो इस दिन सुबह स्नान आदि के बाद 11 तुलसी के पत्ते लें। अब उन तुलसी के पत्तों को अच्छे से धोकर, साफ कपड़े से पोंछ लीजिये। इसके बाद एक कटोरी में थोड़ी-सी हल्दी लेकर पानी की सहायता से उसका घोल बना लीजिये। अब उन तुलसी के पत्तों पर हल्दी से ‘श्री’ लिखकर भगवान को अर्पित कीजिये। साथ ही भगवान से अपने कारोबार में वृद्धि के लिए प्रार्थना करें। 

13. अगर आप अपने परिवार की धन-सम्पदा में बढ़ोतरी करना चाहते हैं, तो इस दिन स्नान आदि के बाद भगवान विष्णु की विधि-पूर्वक धूप-दीप आदि से पूजा करें, पूजा के दौरान विष्णु जी के मंत्र का जाप करें। मंत्र है -‘ऊँ नारायणाय विद्महे वासुदेवाय धीमहि  तन्नो विष्णु प्रचोदयात्'  उसके बाद शाम के समय चंद्रदेव को अर्घ्य दें।

Guru Purnima

Guru Purnima is Sanatan Dharma culture.  Adiguru Parmeshwar Shiva in the form of Dakshinamurti had imparted the knowledge of Shiva to all the sages in the form of disciples.  Gurupurnima is celebrated keeping in his memory.  Guru Purnima is a tradition dedicated to all spiritual and academic gurus who are willing to enlighten and share their wisdom based on Karma Yoga personality development, with little or no monetary expense.  It is celebrated as a festival by followers of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religions in India, Nepal and Bhutan.  This festival is celebrated by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains as a way of honoring their spiritual teachers/leaders and showing their gratitude to them.  The festival is celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July) of the Hindu calendar. The festival was revived by Mahatma Gandhi to honor his spiritual master Shrimad Rajchandra.  It is also believed that Vyasa Purnima is celebrated as the birthday of Vedavyasa.

Meaning- Oh Guru, you are like the gods.  You are Lord Brahma, you are Lord Vishnu and you are Mahesh.  You are the god of gods.  Oh master!  You are the supreme being.  I bow down to you and bow down.

According to the Panchang, every year the full moon day of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Ashadha is celebrated as Guru Purnima.  The word Guru is made up of 'Gu' and 'Ru'.  The meaning of Gu in this is from darkness, ignorance, while the meaning of Ru is to remove or remove.  In this way Guru is the one who removes the darkness of ignorance from our life and makes us knowledgeable.  Positivity comes in life from the light of knowledge only from the Guru.

When and how did the Guru Purnima festival start?

It is said that the celebration of Ashada Purnima day as Guru Purnima festival was started by 5 disciples of Maharishi Ved Vyas ji.  In Hinduism, Maharishi Ved Vyas has been considered as the form of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh.  Maharishi Ved Vyas had deep interest in spirituality since childhood.  To get engrossed in the meditation of God, he wanted to go to the forest and do penance.  But his parents did not allow him for this.  Then Ved Vyas ji became adamant.  After this, Ved Vyas ji's mother allowed him to go to the forest.  But the mother said that if he remembers his family in the forest, he should return immediately.  After this the father also agreed.  In this way, after the permission of the parents, Maharishi Ved Vyas went towards the forest to meditate on God and started penance.

Ved Vyas ji achieved proficiency in Sanskrit language and after that he composed many religious texts including Mahabharata, 18 Mahapuranas, Brahmasutra.  Also expanded the Vedas.  That's why Maharishi Ved Vyas ji is also known as Badrayan.

It is said that Maharishi Ved Vyas ji gave the knowledge of Shri Bhagwat Purana to his disciples and sages on the day of Ashadh.  Since then, 5 disciples of Maharishi Ved Vyas started the tradition of celebrating this day as Guru Purnima and worshiping Guru on this day.  After this, every year the full moon day of Ashadh month was celebrated as Guru Purnima or Vyas Purnima.

Significance of Guru Purnima

Even in the scriptures, the Guru has got a higher position than the deities.  Lord Shiva himself says about the Guru, 'Gururdevo gururdharmo, guru nishtha paran tapah'.  Guru: Partaram nasti, trivaram kathyami te..' Means Guru is God, Guru is religion, loyalty to Guru is the ultimate religion.  This means that, along with humans, the Gods themselves also need a Guru.

It has been said about Guru that, 'Hari is angry, Guru is angry, Guru is not angry'.  That is, when God gets angry, one gets the refuge of the Guru, but if the Guru gets angry, then there is no refuge anywhere.  That's why Guru has special importance in life.  It is believed that whoever you consider as your Guru, worshiping him or taking his blessings on the day of Guru Purnima removes the obstacles in life.

Guru is an important part of Indian culture and to remember that culture, the full moon of the month of Ashadha has been named as Guru Purnima.  In relation to Guru Purnima, it is also believed that on this day Ved Vyas ji compiled the Vedas and many Puranas, Upapuranas and Mahabharata were also composed on this day.  That's why this day is also called Vyas Purnima.  Guru Purnima is the day to remember all the Gurus, to bow down to them.  In such a situation, know from Acharya Indu Prakash about some special measures to be taken on the day of Guru Purnima.

Do this special remedy on the day of Guru Purnima

1. If you want to get success in any of your important work, then worship Lord Shankar with Belpatra on this day.  Along with this, do chant the mantra 'Om Namah Shivay' while offering bel patra on the Shivling.  By doing this, you and your child will definitely progress.

2. To ensure that the safes of your home and shop are always full, take 11 pennies on this day, put turmeric tilak on them and offer them to Goddess Lakshmi today, and the next morning tie these pennies in a red cloth and keep them in your vault.  Keep in mind that from this day on every full moon day, take out these pennies from your vault and keep them in front of the mother, apply tilak on them again with turmeric and again tie them in a red cloth and keep them in your vault the next day.  By doing this you will not have any shortage of money.

3. If you are facing difficulties in completing any work related to education, then chant this mantra of Goddess Saraswati 21 times on this day to get success in it.  The mantra is- 'Om Hree Saraswatyai Namah:' By doing this, all your work related to education will be completed on time.

4. If you want to strengthen the relationship with your lovemate, then on this day take a new white colored handkerchief, apply a nice perfume of your lovemate's choice on it and gift that handkerchief to your lovemate.  .  By doing this, there will be intensity in your relationship with Lovemate.

5. If instead of happiness in your married life, sorrow has knocked, then keep two camphor on a dung cake under your bed while sleeping on this day.  Then tomorrow burn the camphor along with the cow dung cake outside the main door of the house.  By doing this only happiness will be seen in your married life.

6. If you want to get success in the field of politics, then you should take a Durga Bisa Yantra and place it in front of Mother Goddess and worship Mother Goddess and Yantra properly.  Along with this, Siddhakunjika Stotra should be recited.  After this, after taking the blessings of Mother Goddess, keep that Durga Bisa Yatra carefully with you or wear it around your neck.  By doing this you will get a lot of success in the field of politics.

7. If your child wants to achieve special achievements in the field of education, then to ensure his success, worship Lord Vishnu methodically after taking bath etc. on this day and establish Vidya Yantra at the time of worship.  After worship, pick up that yantra and install it in your child's study room or put it in a talisman and wear it around the child's neck.  By doing this, your child will get special achievements in the field of education.

If you want to protect your family from the evil eye of others, then for this, on this day, show incense in the whole house by lighting 11 camphor on cow-dung cakes or kanda.  Also, if you have your own office or any business, then do show camphor incense there too.  By doing this, your family will be saved from the evil eye of others.

9. If you want to get rid of the tricks of your enemies, then on this day, after taking bath etc., take raw white cotton thread and wrap it around the Tulsi plant.  Also, pray to God that no enemy ever disturbs you.  By doing this no trick of the enemy will work on you and you will live a tension free life.

10. If you are troubled by the burden of debt, then chant Shri Narayan's mantra 11 times by lighting a ghee lamp in the temple of your house in the evening to get rid of it as soon as possible.  The mantra is- 'Om Namo Bhagavate Narayana'. By doing this you will get rid of debt soon and you will feel good.

11. If you want to get the desired life partner and if you are already married, then if you want to maintain love in it, then put a few drops of milk, a little saffron and red flowers in clean water and offer them to the Shivling.  By doing this, you will get the desired life partner and love will remain between you two.

12. If you want to ensure growth in your business, take 11 Tulsi leaves on this morning after taking bath etc.  Now wash those basil leaves thoroughly and wipe them with a clean cloth.  After this, take a little turmeric in a bowl and make its solution with the help of water.  Now write 'Shri' with turmeric on those basil leaves and offer them to God.  Also pray to God for growth in your business.

13. If you want to increase your family's wealth, then on this day, after taking bath etc., worship Lord Vishnu with dhoop-lamp etc., chant Vishnu ji's mantra during worship.  The mantra is - 'Om Narayanaya Vidmahe Vasudevaya Dhimahi Tanno Vishnu Prachodayat' After that offer Arghya to Chandradev in the evening.
