जन्म कुंडली में शनि पीड़ित स्थिति में होने पर व्यक्ति अक्सर जॉइंट्स पेन या जोड़ो के दर्द से परेशान रहता है और कुंडली में शनि पीड़ित होने पर ही घुटनो के दर्द, कमर दर्द, गर्दन के दर्द, रीढ़ की हड्डी की समस्या, कोहनी और कंधो के जॉइंट्स में दर्द के जैसी समस्याएं उत्पन्न होती हैं।

इसके अतिरिक्त कुंडली का “दसवा भाव” घुटनो का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। छटा भाव कमर का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है, तीसरा भाव कन्धों का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है और सूर्य को हड्डियों और केल्सियम का कारक माना गया है अतः इन सबकी भी यहाँ सहायक भूमिका है। परंतु जोड़ो के दर्द की समस्या में मुख्य भूमिका “शनि” की ही होती है क्योंकि शनि को हड्डियों के जोड़ो का नैसर्गिक कारक माना गया है और शनि हमारे शरीर में उपस्थित हड्डियों के सभी जॉइंट्स का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। अतः कुंडली में शनि पीड़ित होने पर ही व्यक्ति को दीर्घकालीन या निरन्तर जॉइंट्स पेन की समस्या बनी रहती है”

आचार्य वराह मिहिर के अनुसार पहले घर में बृहस्पति हो और सातवें घर में शनि विराजमान हो इस स्थिति में भी गठिया रोग होता है।   शनि की दृष्टि दसवें घर एवं दसवें घर के स्वामी पर होने से भी इस के रोग की आशंका रहती है। वृषभ, मिथुन एवं तुला राशि के व्यक्तियों में इस रोग की संभावना अधिक रहती है। जिनकी कुण्डली में शनि चन्द्रमा को देखता है उन्हें भी गठिया रोग की पीड़ा सहनी पड़ती है।

गठिया रोग के एस्ट्रो मेडिकल उपचार

शनिवार के दिन संध्या के समय शनि देव को तिल एवं तिल का तेल अर्पित करें।

तिल के तेल से जोड़ों की मालिश करें।

उड़द की दाल से बनी खिचड़ी दान करें और स्वयं भी खाएं।

जितना संभव हो शनि मंत्र "ओम् शं 

शनिश्चराय नमः" मंत्र का जप करें।

गुरूवार के दिन गाय को चने की दाल, रोटी एवं केला खिलाएं।

नियमित रूप से गुरू मंत्र "ओम् बृं बृहस्पतये नम:" मंत्र का जप करें।

  When Saturn is afflicted in the horoscope, the person is often troubled by joint pain or joint pain, and knee pain, back pain, neck pain, spinal cord problems, elbow and shoulder problems only when Saturn is afflicted in the horoscope.  Problems like pain arise in the joints.
