बैसाखी कब है 

ग्रंथों के अनुसार जब सूर्य मेष राशि में प्रवेश कर अपनी स्थिति को बदलता है, उस समय यह बैसाखी उत्सव मनाया जाता है। वैशाख माह के प्रथम दिन को बैसाखी आती है। इसे सौर नववर्ष और मेष संक्रांति कहा जाता है। वर्तमान में प्रयोग किए जाने वाले कैलेंडर के अनुसार इसे अप्रैल के महीने में मनाया जाता है।

प्रत्येक वर्ष इसे 13 अप्रैल को मनाया जाता है। लेकिन 12 या 13 वर्षों में कई बार बैसाखी का पर्व 14 अप्रैल के दिन आ जाता है। 

 

बैसाखी का अर्थ 

बैसाखी शब्द की उत्पत्ति वैशाख से हुई है। बैसाखी का अर्थ है वैशाख माह में आने वाली पूर्णिमा। विशाखा नक्षत्र पूर्णिमा के समय में होने की वजह से ही उसे बैसाखी कहा जाता है। हिंदू धर्म में पूर्णिमा का दिन बहुत ही पवित्र माना जाता है। 

 

जानिए बैसाखी क्यों मनाया जाता है? 

सिख पंथ के 10 वें गुरु का नाम श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी था। गुरु जी ने खालसा पंथ की स्थापना 13 अप्रैल 1699 के दिन की थी। तभी से इस दिन को बैसाखी त्योहार के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा। 

 वहीं दूसरी ओर इस समय रबी फसल लगभग तैयार हो चुकी होती है, इस त्योहार पर पकी फसल की कटाई शुरू कर दी जाती है। 

 गुरु गोबिंद जी ने गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब को अपना और सिख समुदाय का मार्गदर्शक बनाया था। गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब सिखों का पवित्र धार्मिक ग्रंथ है, इसलिए इस दिन गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब का पाठ करते हैं। 

 इसी दिन सिंह शब्द को अंतिम नाम के रूप में स्वीकार किया था। 

 बैसाख के दिन अधिकतर मेलों का आयोजन नदी या तालाबों के किनारे किया जाता है। इसके पीछे कई मान्यताएं है और एक कथा भी प्रचलित है। जिसकी कहानी हम आपको आगे बताएंगे।

 हिंदू मान्यताओं के अनुसार हजारों वर्षों पहले इसी दिन पृथ्वी पर गंगा माता जी अवतरित हुई थी, जिसमें कई प्राणियों को जीवन मिला। इसी वजह से बैसाखी के दिन गंगा स्नान पवित्र माना जाता है और हिंदुओं के लिए भी बैसाखी का त्योहार महत्वपूर्ण हो जाता है। 

 बैसाखी के पर्व के बाद से मौसम मे बदलाव दिखाई देना शुरू हो जाता है, जिसमें धूप और गर्मी बढ़ती जाती है। इस नए मौसम का स्वागत करने के लिए इसे मनाया जाता है, क्योंकि बदलता मौसम नई फसल के लिए वातावरण तैयार करता है। सर्दी का मौसम इस दिन से पूरी तरह समाप्त माना जाता है।

 

बैसाखी का महत्व 

राष्ट्रीय त्योहार के रूप में मनाए जाने वाली बैखासी को कृषि पर्व कहा जाता है। इस दिन गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी ने आनंदपुर साहिब में खालसा पंथ की नींव को रखा था। खालसा शब्द का अर्थ पावन, पवित्र और शुद्ध होता है। इसे खेती का पर्व भी कहा गया है, जो कि रबी फसल पकने पर खुशी का प्रतीक माना जाता है। 

 

अलग अलग धर्माें में इसे विभिन्न तरीकों से मनाया जाता है। उत्तरी भारत में पंजाब और हरियाणा राज्यों में इस दिन विशेष प्रकार का आयोजन किया जाता है। यहां पर ढोल और नगाड़ों को बजाकर गीत गाए जाते हैं। इस दौरान नृत्य करके बैसाखी का स्वागत किया जाता है। इस दिन दान करना बहुत ही शुभ माना जाता है और सामान्य दिनों की अपेक्षा इस दिन अधिक फल की प्राप्ति होती है। वहीं पवित्र नदियों में स्नान करने से तन और मन पवित्र हो जाता है।

कब है बैसाखी का पर्व, क्या है शूभ मुहूर्त, जानिए महत्व

पंजाब और हरियाणा में सिख समुदाय द्वारा मनाया जाने वाला त्योहार बैसाखी 14 अप्रैल को है। बैसाखी का दिन किसानों के लिए खास होता है। इसे किसान अपनी फसल पकने की खुशी में मनाते हैं। बैसाखी को सिख नव वर्ष की शुरुआत भी माना जाता है। बैसाखी को 'वैसाखी' या 'बसोआ' के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।

आमतौर पर बैसाखी, वैशाख महीने के पहले दिन मनाया जाता है, जो लगभग 13 या 14 अप्रैल को पड़ता है। इस साल बैशाखी 14 अप्रैल 2023 को मनाया जाएगा।

बैसाखी मुख्य रूप से उत्तरी राज्य पंजाब में मनाई जाती है। पंजाब का बैसाखी एक प्रमुख त्योहार है। इसके अलावा बैसाखी हरियाणा, हिमाचल प्रदेश, दिल्ली में मनाई जाती है। पश्चिम बंगाल में इसे "नबा बर्शा" या बंगाली नव वर्ष के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

बैसाखी की तारीख और शुभ मुहूर्त

14 अप्रैल 2023 को पूरे देश में बैसाखी का पर्व धूमधाम से मनाया जाएगा। द्रिक पंचांग के मुताबिक बैसाखी संक्रांति का शुभ मुहूर्त 14 अप्रैल को दोपहर 03 बजकर 12 से शुरू होगा।

बैसाखी पर्व पर गेहूं का दान करना चाहिए। इससे प्रतिष्ठा और आत्मविश्वास में वृद्धि होती है। इसके अलावा इस दिन आटे का दीपक बनाकर उसमे गेहूं के कुछ दाने डालकर घी से प्रज्वलित करें। फिर इसे अपने घर के ईशान कोण में जलाएं। इससे घर में समृद्धि आती है।

धन प्राप्ति की कामना के लिए बैसाखी के पावन पर्व पर चावल की खीर बनाकर गरीब व्यक्तियों में बाटें। 

इससे गरीबों का आशीर्वाद मिलेगा और आपका घर हमेशा धन-धान्य से भरा रहेगा।

According to the scriptures, this Baisakhi festival is celebrated when the Sun enters Aries and changes its position.  Baisakhi falls on the first day of Vaishakh month.  It is called Solar New Year and Mesha Sankranti.  According to the currently used calendar, it is celebrated in the month of April.

Every year it is celebrated on 13 April.  But many times in 12 or 13 years, the festival of Baisakhi falls on 14th April.

Meaning of Baisakhi

The word Baisakhi is derived from Vaishakh.  Baisakhi means the full moon coming in the month of Vaishakh.  It is called Baisakhi because of Visakha Nakshatra being at the time of full moon.  The full moon day is considered very sacred in Hinduism.

Know why Baisakhi is celebrated?

The name of the 10th Guru of the Sikh Panth was Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.  Guru ji established the Khalsa Panth on 13 April 1699.  Since then this day started being celebrated as Baisakhi festival.

On the other hand, at this time the Rabi crop is almost ready, harvesting of ripe crop is started on this festival.

Guru Gobind ji made the Guru Granth Sahib his guide and that of the Sikh community.  Guru Granth Sahib is the holy religious book of Sikhs, so on this day they recite Guru Granth Sahib.

On this day the word Singh was accepted as the last name.

Most of the fairs are organized on the banks of rivers or ponds on the day of Baisakh.  There are many beliefs behind this and a legend is also popular.  Whose story we will tell you next.

According to Hindu beliefs, thousands of years ago, on this day, Ganga Mata ji was incarnated on earth, in which many creatures got life.  For this reason, bathing in the Ganges on the day of Baisakhi is considered sacred and the festival of Baisakhi becomes important for Hindus as well.

After the festival of Baisakhi, change in the weather starts to appear, in which sunlight and heat increases.  It is celebrated to welcome this new season, as the changing season prepares the environment for the new crop.  The winter season is considered to be completely over from this day.

Importance of Baisakhi

Baikhasi celebrated as a national festival is called Krishi Parv.  On this day Guru Gobind Singh Ji laid the foundation of Khalsa Panth at Anandpur Sahib.  The word Khalsa means pure, holy and pure.  It is also called the festival of farming, which is considered a symbol of happiness when the Rabi crop ripens.

It is celebrated in different ways in different religions.  Special events are organized on this day in the states of Punjab and Haryana in northern India.  Here songs are sung by playing drums and drums.  During this, Baisakhi is welcomed by dancing.  Donating on this day is considered very auspicious and more results are obtained on this day than on normal days.  On the other hand, taking a bath in the holy rivers purifies the body and mind.
