हिंदू धर्म में तुलसी के पौधे का विशेष महत्व है और इस पौधे को बहुत ही शुभ माना जाता है. कहा जाता है कि नवरात्रि के दौरान घर में तुलसी का पौधा लगाना बेहद शुभ होता है. स्वच्छता के साथ इस पौधे को घर में लगाने से मां लक्ष्मी प्रसन्न होती हैं और सुख-समृद्धि का आशीर्वाद देती हैं. जिससे घर की आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार होता है और पैसे की दिक्कत ख़त्म होती है. लेकिन तुलसी का पौधा लगाने के बाद इस बात का ध्यान रखें कि रविवार और एकादशी को छोड़कर रोज़ाना तुलसी के पौधे में जल चढ़ाएं. साथ ही शाम के समय तुलसी के पास घी का दीपक भी जलाएं.

हिन्दू धर्म में तुलसी को बहुत ही पवित्र माना जाता है. माना जाता है कि तुलसी के पौधे में मां लक्ष्मी का वास होता है. जिस घर में तुलसी का पौधा होता है वहां मां लक्ष्मी और भगवान विष्णु की कृपा दृष्टि बनी रहती है.

नवरात्रि में मां दुर्गा के नौ स्वरूपों की पूजा-अर्चना होती है, लेकिन अगर आपके घर में तुलसी है तो नवरात्रि के दौरान कुछ काम जरूर करें. इन्हें करने से मां दुर्गा के साथ-साथ मां लक्ष्मी का भी आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है.

नवरात्रि में दुर्गा मां के सामने दीपक जलाने के साथ-साथ तुलसी के पौधे के पास भी दीपक जलाना चाहिए. माना जाता है कि इससे घर का वास्तु दोष दूर होता है और सुख-समृद्धि आती है.

नवरात्रि में विधिपूर्वक तुलसी की पूजा करने से सेहत संबंधी सारी परेशानियां दूर होती हैं. तुलसी की पूजा करने से अच्छी सेहत का वरदान मिलता है. इसलिए नवरात्रि में हर तुलसी मां की पूजा करनी चाहिए.

अगर आपके घर में अब तक तुलसी का पौधा नहीं लगाया है तो नवरात्रि के शुभ अवसर पर इसे जरूर लगा लें. घर के ईशान कोण में तुलसी का पौधा लगाने से घर की नकारात्मक ऊर्जा खत्म होती है.

नवरात्रि में तुलसी पौधे पर नियमित रूप से जल चढ़ाना चाहिए और इसकी परिक्रमा करना चाहिए. ऐसा करने से गृहक्लेश से मुक्ति मिलती है और घर में शांति का वास होता है.

नवरात्रि में तुलसी माता को दिन में सूर्य के समक्ष जल ‍अर्पित करने से सौभाग्य की प्राप्ति होती है. मां दुर्गा और लक्ष्मी की कृपा से जीवन में खूब तरक्की मिलती है.

तुलसी पर जल अर्पित करने के बाद यह मंत्र बोले- 'महाप्रसाद जननी सर्व सौभाग्यवर्धिनी, आधि व्याधि हरा नित्यं तुलसी त्वं नमोस्तुते'. यह मंत्र सारी मनोकामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए उत्तम माना जाता है.

Tulsi plant has special importance in Hindu religion and this plant is considered very auspicious.  It is said that it is very auspicious to plant a basil plant in the house during Navratri.  By planting this plant in the house with cleanliness, Goddess Lakshmi is pleased and blesses with happiness and prosperity.  Due to which the economic condition of the house improves and the problem of money ends.  But after planting the Tulsi plant, keep in mind that except Sunday and Ekadashi, offer water to the Tulsi plant daily.  Along with this, light a ghee lamp near Tulsi in the evening.

Tulsi is considered very sacred in Hindu religion.  It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi resides in the Tulsi plant.  The blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu remain in the house where there is a Tulsi plant.

Nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped during Navratri, but if you have Tulsi in your home, do some work during Navratri.  By doing these one gets the blessings of Maa Durga as well as Maa Lakshmi.

Along with lighting a lamp in front of Durga Maa during Navratri, a lamp should also be lit near the Tulsi plant.  It is believed that this removes Vastu defects of the house and brings happiness and prosperity.

Worshiping Tulsi methodically in Navratri removes all health related problems.  Worshiping Tulsi gives boon of good health.  That's why every Tulsi mother should be worshiped during Navratri.

If you haven't planted Tulsi plant in your house till now, then definitely plant it on the auspicious occasion of Navratri.  Planting a basil plant in the north-east corner of the house removes the negative energy of the house.

Water should be regularly offered to the Tulsi plant during Navratri and it should be circumambulated.  By doing this, one gets freedom from home distress and peace resides in the house.

Offering water to Tulsi Mata in front of the Sun during Navratri brings good fortune.  With the grace of Maa Durga and Lakshmi, there is a lot of progress in life.

After offering water on Tulsi chant this mantra- 'Mahaprasad Janani Sarva Saubhagyavardhini, Aadhi Vyadhi Hara Nityam Tulsi Twam Namostute'.  This mantra is considered best for the fulfillment of all wishes.
