हर एक भारतवासी किसी भी महत्वपूर्ण कार्य की शुरुआत किसी शुभ दिन या तारीख़ पर करना चाहता है। उनका मानना होता है कि शुभ दिन पर शुरु किये गए कार्य में कोई बाधा नहीं आती। ज्योतिष शास्त्र में भी शुभ मुहूर्त का ज़िक्र है, जिससे किसी नए घर का निर्माण कार्य शुरु करने से पहले शुभ मुहूर्त निकाला जाता है। यही वजह है कि भूमि पूजन का मुहूर्त  जानना काफी महत्वपूर्ण है। 

अधिकांश भारतीय कुछ भी नया शुरु करने से पहले भगवान का आशीर्वाद जरुर लेते हैं। इसलिए नए घर का निर्माण शुरू करने का शुभ समय जानने के बाद भूमि पूजन किया जाता है। अपने घर का निर्माण कार्य शुरू करने से पहले, भगवान का आशीर्वाद लेना हमेशा ही अच्छा होता है।

ऐसे करें नींव की खुदाई 

भूमि पूजन के बाद नींव की खुदाई ईशान कोण से ही प्रारंभ करें। ईशान के बाद आग्नेय कोण की खुदाई करें। आग्नेय के बाद वायव्य कोण, वायव्य कोण के बाद नैऋत्य कोण की खुदाई करें। कोणों की खुदाई के बाद दिशा की खुदाई करें। पूर्व, उत्तर, पश्चिम और दक्षिण में क्रम से खुदाई करें।

भूमि पूजन क्या है 

भूमि का अर्थ है पृथ्वी, और भूमि पूजन भूमि देवी की पूजा-अर्चना करने का एक हिंदू अनुष्ठान है। भूमि पूजन को नींव पूजन के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार भूमि की पूजा-अर्चना करने से भूमि से संबंधित सभी दोष खत्म हो जाते हैं। भूमि पूजन किसी भी निर्माण कार्य या कृषि कार्य हेतु भूमि जोतने का काम शुरू करने से पहले देवी भूमि की पूजा करने के लिए किया जाता है।

ऐसा माना जाता है कि शुभ मुहूर्त में भूमि पूजन करने से भूमि के किसी भी प्रकार के दुष्प्रभाव या वास्तु दोष को दूर करने में मदद मिलती है। इसके विपरीत अगर भूमि का मालिक भूमि की पूजा किए बिना कोई कार्य शुरु करता है तो उसके रास्ते में कई रुकावटें आती हैं। इसलिए शिलान्यास या निर्माण कार्य शुरु करने से पहले सभी देवताओं और धरती माता का आशीर्वाद लेना महत्वपूर्ण है।

भूमि पूजन  या गृह निर्माण पूजन का महत्व

भवन या घर का निर्माण शुरू करने से पहले धरती माता या भूमि तथा अन्य देवताओं की पूजा करने को भूमि पूजन कहा जाता है। इस पूजा में आम तौर पर भूमि पर पहली ईंट या आधारशिला रखी जाती है, और निर्माण कार्य सही से पूरा हो जाये, इसके लिए भगवान का आशीर्वाद लिया जाता है और प्रार्थना की जाती है।  

इसके अलावा, निर्माण कार्य के दौरान ज़मीन के अंदर रहने वाले जीवों को अनजाने में नुकसान पहुंच सकता है, इसलिए उनसे क्षमा मांगने के लिए निर्णाण शुरू करने से पहले भूमि पूजन किया जाता है। यह अनुष्ठान पांच तत्वों अर्थात् जल, पृथ्वी, अग्नि, आकाश और वायु को प्रसन्न करने के लिए किया जाता है।

गृह निर्माण पूजन  के कुछ महत्वपूर्ण लाभ निम्नलिखित हैं: 

यह भूमि से वास्तु दोष या किसी भी नकारात्मकता को खत्म करने में मदद करता है।

भूमि पूजन घर या जमीन तथा परिवार के सभी सदस्यों को किसी भी दुर्घटना से बचाता है।

इससे घर में सकारात्मक ऊर्जा आती है और परिवार के सदस्यों को सौभाग्य भी मिलता है।

भूमि पूजन - भूमि पूजन के देवता मुहूर्त

भूमि देवी या भूमि देवी धरती माता हैं जिनका इस अनुष्ठान में पूजा की जाती है। उनका आशीर्वाद पाने के लिए, भूमि पूजन विधि के पश्चात् निर्माण में किसी भी बाधा को दूर करने हेतु भूमि पूजन  के दौरान भूमि देवी की पूजा  की जाती है।

वास्तु पुरुष वास्तु के देवता हैं और हर भूमि एक 'वास्तु पुरुष मंडल' है। वास्तु पुरुष की पूजा उस भवन में रहने वाले परिवार के सदस्यों के जीवन में सद्भाव लाने के लिए की जाती है क्योंकि वास्तु पुरुष मंडल ब्रह्मांडीय बदलावों के अनुसार उस घर की आध्यात्मिकता को दर्शाता है।

ऐसे करें नींव की भराई

 

नींव की भराई, नींव की खुदाई के विपरीत क्रम से करें। सबसे पहले नैऋत्य कोण की भराई करें। उसके बाद क्रम से वायव्य, आग्नेय, ईशान की भराई करें। अब दिशाओं में नींव की भराई करें। सबसे पहले दक्षिण दिशा में भराई करें। अब पश्चिम, उत्तर व पूर्व में क्रम से भराई करें।

नींव पूजन में कलश स्थापना

 नींव पूजन में एक छोटे कछुए के ऊपर  चांदी या तांबे का कलश स्थापित किया जाना चाहिए। कलश के अंदर चांदी के सर्प का जोड़ा, लोहे की चार कील, हल्दी की पांच गांठें, पान के 11 पत्ते, तुलसी की 35 पत्तियां, मिट्टी के 11 दीपक, छोटे आकार के पांच औजार, सिक्के, आटे की पंजीरी, फल, नारियल, गुड़, पांच चौकोर पत्थर, शहद, जनेऊ, राम-नाम पुस्तिका, पंच रत्न, पंच धातु रखना चाहिए। समस्त सामग्री को कलश में रखकर कलश का मुख लाल कपड़े से बांधकर नींव में स्थापित करना चाहिए।

Every Indian wants to start any important work on any auspicious day or date.  They believe that there is no obstacle in the work started on an auspicious day.  There is also mention of auspicious time in astrology, from which auspicious time is taken out before starting the construction work of a new house.  This is the reason why knowing the auspicious time of Bhoomi Pujan is very important.

This is how to dig the foundation

After Bhoomi Pujan, start the digging of the foundation from the north-east.  Excavate the southeast angle after northeast.  Excavate the north-west corner after the south-east, and the south-west corner after the north-east.  After digging the angles, dig the direction.  Dig in order in East, North, West and South.

Bhoomi means earth, and Bhoomi Pujan is a Hindu ritual of worshiping the goddess Bhoomi.  Bhoomi Pujan is also known as foundation worship.  According to religious beliefs, by worshiping the land, all the defects related to the land are removed.  Bhoomi Pujan is performed to worship Goddess Bhoomi before starting any construction work or plowing the land for agricultural work.

It is believed that performing Bhoomi Pujan in an auspicious time helps in removing any kind of side effects or Vaastu defects of the Bhoomi.  On the contrary, if the owner of the land starts any work without worshiping the land, then many obstacles come in his way.  Therefore it is important to seek the blessings of all the Gods and Mother Earth before laying the foundation stone or starting the construction work.

Importance of Bhoomi Pujan or Griha Nirman Pujan

Worshiping Mother Earth or Bhoomi and other deities before starting the construction of a building or house is called Bhoomi Pujan.  In this puja, usually the first brick or foundation stone is laid on the ground, and blessings are sought and prayers are offered to the God for the construction work to be completed properly.

Also, during the construction work, living beings living inside the ground may be inadvertently harmed, so bhoomi pujan is performed before starting nirvana to seek their forgiveness.  This ritual is performed to appease the five elements namely water, earth, fire, sky and air.

Bhoomi Devi or Bhoomi Devi is Mother Earth who is worshiped in this ritual.  Bhoomi Devi is worshiped during Bhoomi Pujan to remove any obstacles in the construction after the Bhoomi Pujan method, to get her blessings.

Vastu Purush is the God of Vastu and every land is a 'Vastu Purush Mandal'.  Vastu Purusha is worshiped to bring harmony in the lives of the family members living in that house as the Vastu Purusha Mandala reflects the spirituality of that house according to the cosmic changes.

This is how to fill the foundation

Backfilling the foundation is done in the reverse order of digging the foundation.  First of all fill the southwest angle.  After that do the stuffing of North-West, South-East and North-East respectively.  Now fill the foundation in the directions.  First of all stuffing should be done in the south direction.  Now stuffing in west, north and east in order.

Kalash installation in foundation worship

A silver or copper urn should be installed on top of a small turtle in the foundation worship.  A pair of silver snakes, four iron nails, five lumps of turmeric, 11 betel leaves, 35 basil leaves, 11 earthen lamps, five small tools, coins, flour register, fruits, coconut,  Jaggery, five square stones, honey, sacred thread, Ram-Naam booklet, five gems, five metals should be kept.  Keeping all the ingredients in the Kalash, the face of the Kalash should be tied with a red cloth and installed in the foundation.
