8.वायव्यः- पश्चिम दिशा व उत्तर दिशा को मिलाने वाली विदिशा को वायव्य विदिशा या कोण कहते है जैसा कि नाम से ही विदित होता है कि यह कोण वायु का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। यह वायु का ही स्थान माना जाता है। यह मानव को शांति, स्वस्थ दीर्घायु आदि प्रदान करता है। वस्तुतः यह परिवर्तन प्रदान करता है। भवन मे यदि इस कोण मे दोष हो, तो यह शत्रुता चपट हो तो, जातक भाग्यशाली होते हुए भी आनन्द नही भोग सकता है। यदि वायव्य द्घर मे सबसे बड़ा या ज्यादा गोलाकार है तो गृहस्वामी को गुप्त रोग सताएंगें। इस कोण का स्वामी ‘बटुक’ है और प्रतिनिधि ग्रह ‘चन्द्रमा’ माना गया है।
