प्रातः सूर्य को रोली मिलाकर जल अर्पित करें. इसके बाद सूर्य की रोशनी में बैठकर विशेष चौपाई का तीन माला जाप करें. चौपाई होगी - "दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते , सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते". ये प्रयोग मंगलवार से शुरू करके सत्ताईस दिनों तक करें. साथ में मंगलवार को लाल गाय को गुड और रोटी भी खिलाएं.
