उदर या पेट के रोग को ज्योतिष में देखा जाये तो चतुर्थ, पंचम एवं दशम भाव से देखा जाता है। इन स्थानों के स्वामीग्रह यदि छठे, आठवे या बारहवें अथवा अपने घर से छठे, आठवे, बारहवे स्थान में हो जाये, अथवा क्रूर ग्रहों से आक्रांत हो तो पेट के रोग देते हैं। साथ ही अगर लग्र, तीसरे, पंचम, सप्तम, दशम स्थानों में शनि अथवा राहु हों, तब भी पेट के रोगी हो सकते हैं। अत: यदि चिकत्सकीय ईलाज से लाभ न प्राप्त हो रहा हो तो उक्त ग्रहों की शांति करानी एवं मंत्र जाप करना एवं उक्त ग्रहों की सामग्री दान करना चाहिए।

धूम्रपान से न सिर्फ दिल का दौरा, लकवा और रक्तचाप बढ़ने जैसी समस्याएं हो सकती हैं, बल्कि यह पुरुषों की यौन क्षमता पर भी असर कर सकता है। जो लोग दिन में 20 सिगरेट पीते हैं उनमें मर्दाना ताकत कम होने की संभावना 40 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ जाती है। धुएं में मौजूद निकोटीन विभिन्न अंगों को सिकोड़ सकता है। ‘टोबैको कंट्रोल’ में प्रकाशित एक अध्ययन के मुताबिक धूम्रपान करने वाले 16 से 59 वर्ष के पुरुषों में मर्दाना कमजोरी की संभावना दुगनी होती है। धूम्रपान के अलावा, मोटापा, ज्यादा शराब का सेवन और व्याग्रा जैसी दवाओं का दुरुपयोग पुरुषों की यौन सेहत पर असर डाल सकते हैं। इसके साथ ही अनियंत्रित मधुमेह, रक्तचाप जो कि सर्दियों में आम बात है, का भी असर होता है।
