वेदों के अनुसार इस संसार में जीवन धारियों की कुल ८४ लाख योनियां हैं। मनुष्य योनि को इन सभी योनियों में कर्म प्रधान माना गया है। ज्योतिषशास्त्र के अनुसार जिस नक्षत्र में हमारा जन्म होता है उस नक्षत्र से संबंधित योनि के अनुसार हमारा स्वभाव, व्यवहार और व्यक्तित्व होता है।

योनि गुण एवं स्वभाव—–

अश्व योनि- स्वेच्छाचारी, साहसी, प्रभावशाली, ओजस्वी, दमदार आवाज इत्यादि

गज योनि- बलवान, शक्तिशाली, उत्साही एवं सम्मानित लोगों से प्रतिष्ठित

गौ योनि- सदा उत्साहित और आशावादी, मेहनती, परिश्रम से पीछे न हटने वाले, बात करने में निपुण, स्त्रियों को विशेष रुप से प्रिय, कम आयु

सर्प योनी -अत्यंत क्रोधी स्वभाव, अनियंत्रित क्रोध, रूखा स्वभाव, दया और ममता की कमी, मन अस्थिर और चंचल, गम्भीरता से नहीं सोच पाना, खाने और व्यंजन के शौकीन

1 . कुंडली मिलान

वर-वधु की कुंडली का मिलान करते समय ज्योतिषी कई तरह की गलतियां कर जाते हैं। कई बार तो वे उन अहम बिंदुओं को परखना ही भूल जाते हैं जो भविष्य में वर-वधु के शादीशुदा जीवन की नींव बनने वाले हैं। या फिर यदि परखते भी हैं तो उस गहराई से नहीं, जितनी कि आवश्यकता होती है।

2. कुंडली मिलान में योनि मिलान

इन्हीं कभी भी नजरअंदाज ना करने वाली चीजों में से एक है कुंडली का “योनि मिलान”। वर एवं वधु किस योनि से हैं एवं उन दोनों की योनि एक-दूसरे के लिए अनुकूल है या नहीं, इस बात को जान लेना बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है।

3. वैवाहिक जीवन के लिए महत्वपूर्ण

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि सफल वैवाहिक जीवन के लिए स्त्री और पुरुष दोनों के नक्षत्र की योनि समान होनी चाहिए। इससे दोनों के आंतरिक गुण समान होने से आपसी मतभेद होने की संभावना कम रहती है, यानि कि एक सफल वैवाहिक जीवन इसी योनि के कारण बनता है।

4. 28 नक्षत्र

इस संसार में जितने भी जीव हैं वह किसी ना किसी योनि से अवश्य ही संबंध रखते हैं। वैदिक ज्योतिष में भी इन योनियों के महत्व पर बल दिया गया है और इनका संबंध नक्षत्रों से जोड़ा गया है। योनियों के वर्गीकरण में अभिजीत सहित 28 नक्षत्रों को लिया गया है।

5. चौदह योनियां

तो इन 28 नक्षत्रों के हिसाब से ये योनियां चौदह हुईं, क्योंकि दो नक्षत्रों को एक योनि के अन्तर्गत रखा जाता है। तभी तो दो नक्षत्रों को मिलाकर देखा जाता है कि यह किस प्रकार की योनि बना रहे हैं और यह सुखी वैवाहिक जीवन के लिए सही भी है या नहीं।

6. योनियों के प्रकार

चलिए आपको 14 प्रकार की योनियों के बारे में बताती हैं और साथ ही बताएंगे कि इन योनियों के भीतर किस प्रकार के नक्षत्र का जोड़ होता है।

7. पहली सात

यहां पहली सात योनियों के बारे में जानें.... अश्व योनि - अश्विनी, शतभिष; गज योनि - भरणी, रेवती; मेष योनि - पुष्य, कृतिका; सर्प योनि - रोहिणी, मृ्गशिरा; श्वान योनि - मूल, आर्द्रा; मार्जार योनि - आश्लेषा, पुनर्वसु; मूषक योनि - मघा, पूर्वाफाल्गुनी।

8. शेष सात

शेष सात योनियां इस प्रकार हैं...... गौ योनि - उत्तरा फाल्गुनी, उत्तराभाद्रपद; महिष योनि - स्वाती, हस्त; व्याघ्र योनि - विशाखा, चित्रा; मृग योनि - ज्येष्ठा, अनुराधा; वानर योनि - पूर्वाषाढ़ा, श्रवण; नकुल योनि - उत्तराषाढ़ा, अभिजीत; सिंह योनि - पूर्वाभाद्रपद, धनिष्ठा।

9.योनियों का संबंध

चलिए अब आपको बताते हैं कि इन योनियों का संबंध क्या फल प्रदान करता है। कुंडली शास्त्र के अनुसार योनियों का परस्पर संबंध पांच प्रकार से होता है। ये संबंध ही अपने मुताबिक वर-वधु के रिश्ते पर प्रभाव डालते हैं।

10.स्वभाव योनि

पहला है स्वभाव योनि, जिसका अर्थ है वर तथा कन्या की योनि एक है। यदि दोनों की योनि एक ही है तब विवाह को शुभ माना गया है।

11.मित्र योनि

वर-वधु की कुंडली को मिलाकर यदि मित्र योनि बने, तो ऐसा विवाह मधुर बनता है। ऐसे शादीशुदा जोड़े में आपसी समझ की अधिकता एवं प्यार काफी ज्यादा होता है।

12.उदासीन अथवा सम योनि

यदि लड़के तथा लड़की की कुण्डली में दोनों की योनियां परस्पर उदासीन स्वभाव की हैं तब वैवाहिक संबंध औसत ही रहते हैं। ऐसे विवाह में कोई ना कोई छोटी-मोटी परेशानी चलती ही रहती है जो रिश्ते पर सवाल खड़े कर देती है।

13.शत्रु योनि

यदि वर तथा कन्या की परस्पर योनियां मिलाने पर ये शत्रु स्वभाव की बनें, तो ऐसा विवाह नहीं करना चाहिए। यह विवाह कुंडली शास्त्र के अनुसार अशुभ माना जाता है, अंतत: इसे टालने में ही सबकी भलाई है।

14.महाशत्रु योनि

शत्रु योनि से भी बढ़कर महाशत्रु योनि है, यदि वर तथा कन्या कि योनियों में महाशत्रुता हो तो यह बेहद अशुभ विवाह बनता है। ना केवल इससे दाम्पत्य जीवन में वियोग तथा कष्टों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है, साथ ही वर-वधु से जुड़े दो परिवार भी इस विवाह के अशुभ संकटों में फंसते चले जाते हैं।
