घर का मंदिर एक पवित्र जगह है, जहां हम भगवान की पूजा करते हैं। वास्तु शास्त्र घर बनाने और कमरों के स्थान से संबंधित नियम निर्धारित करता है, जिसमें घर में मंदिर का मुख किस दिशा में होना चाहिए की जानकारी भी शामिल है। अगर वास्तु शास्त्र के अनुसार घर में मंदिर रखा जाए तो यह घर और उनके निवासियों के लिए सुख-शांति और समृद्धि लाता है। वास्तु शास्त्र के अनुसार, हर दिशा का कुछ महत्व और ब्रह्मांडीय ऊर्जा होती है। सकारात्मक ऊर्जा को आकर्षित करने के लिए हर घर में वास्तु के अनुसार एक पूजा कक्ष बनाया जाना चाहिए।

हिंदू परंपरा के अनुसार, हर घर में एक छोटा मंदिर होना चाहिए। घर में मंदिर के लिए वो जगह चुनें जहां कोई खलल या लोगों का बार-बार आना-जाना न हो। हालांकि वास्तु-अनुशंसित पूजा रूम बेहतर होगा, ऐसा महानगरों में हमेशा संभव नहीं हो पाता है, जहां जगह की कमी होती है। ऐसे घरों के लिए आप अपनी आवश्यकता के मुताबिक दीवार पर लगे मंदिर या कोने में छोटा मंदिर पर विचार कर सकते हैं। मंदिर बनाते समय वास्तु सिद्धांतों का पालन करना बहुत जरूरी है। इससे यह सुनिश्चित होगा कि वह स्थान सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का उत्सर्जन करे। 

पूरब उगते सूर्य और भगवान इंद्र की दिशा है इसलिए पूरब की ओर मुख करके प्रार्थना करने से सौभाग्य और वृद्धि होती है। पश्चिम की ओर मुख करके प्रार्थना करने से धन आकर्षित करने में मदद मिलती है। उत्तर की ओर मुख करने से अवसरों और सकारात्मकता को आकर्षित करने में मदद मिलती है। वास्तु के अनुसार मंदिर में पूजा करते समय दक्षिण दिशा की ओर मुख करना सही नहीं है। इसलिए घर में मंदिर की दिशा दक्षिण को छोड़कर कोई भी हो सकती है।

इन बातों का रखें ध्यान

वास्तु के अनुसार, मंदिर में कभी भी खंडित मूर्तियां नहीं रखनी चाहिए. इससे नकारात्मक ऊर्जा का वास होता है. मंदिर में लाल रंग का बल्ब का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए. इससे मानसिक तनाव उत्पन्न हो सकता है. हमेशा सफेद रंग का बल्ब ही मंदिर में लगाना चाहिए. मंदिर में पूर्वजों की फोटो भी नहीं रखनी चाहिए. एक भगवान की कई तस्वीरें मंदिर में स्थापित नहीं करनी चाहिए. मंदिर मे बर्तनों को साफ रखें. देवी-देवताओं की प्रतिमा भी रोजाना साफ करें. इससे घर में सुख-समृद्धि हमेशा बनी रहती है.

मंदिर रखें इतनी ऊंचाई पर

कई घरों में मंदिर जमीन पर बनाया जाता है, माना जाता है कि ऐसा लोग बैठकर पूजा करने के लिए करते हैं। जबकि वास्तु के हिसाब से मंदिर की ऊंचाई इतनी हो कि भगवान के पैर और हमारे हृदय का स्तर बराबर तक होना चाहिए। ऐसा इसलिए कहा जाता है क्योंकि ईश्वर सबसे सर्वोच्च हैं और हम उनका मंदिर या उन्हें किसी भी तरह अपने से नीचे आसन नहीं दे सकते हैं।

किस धातु का हो मंदिर

कई लोग अलग-अलग के धातुओं से बने मंदिर में भगवान की प्रतिमाएं रख देते हैं जो कि उचित नहीं है। वास्तुशास्त्र कहता है कि भगवान का मंदिर लकड़ी का ही होना चाहिए। इसके पीछे मान्यता है कि लकड़ी घर में सौभाग्य अथवा गुड लक की प्रतीक होती है। इसलिए लकड़ी से बना मंदिर बेहतर माना जाता है। कुछ लोग संगमरमर के बने मंदिर में भी भगवान को रखते हैं। संगमरमर से बना मंदिर भी घर के लिए अच्छा माना जाता है क्योंकि संगमरमर से भी घर में सुख-शांति आती हैं।

वास्तु में सीढ़ियों का विशेष महत्व है। भवन के दक्षिण-पश्चिम यानि कि नैऋत्य कोण में पृथ्वी तत्व की प्रधानता होती है अतः यहाँ सीढ़ियां बनाने से इस दिशा का भार बढ़ जाता है जो वास्तु की दृष्टि में बहुत शुभ माना जाता है। इसलिए इस दिशा में सीढ़ियों का निर्माण सर्वश्रेष्ठ माना गया है इससे धन-संपत्ति में वृद्धि होती है एवं स्वास्थ्य अच्छा रहता है। दक्षिण में बनी सीढ़ियां निवासियों के लिए प्रसिद्धि और यश का कारण बनती हैं। वहीँ पश्चिम दिशा में इनका निर्माण करवाने से लाभदायक परिणाम मिलते हैं।यदि  जगह का अभाव है तो वायव्य या आग्नेय कोण में भी निर्माण करवाया जा सकता है।

यहाँ ठीक नहीं-

घर का मध्य भाग यानि कि ब्रह्म स्थान अति संवेदनशील क्षेत्र माना गया है अतः भूलकर भी यहाँ सीढ़ियों का निर्माण नहीं कराएं अन्यथा वहाँ रहने वालों को विभिन्न प्रकार की दिक्क़तों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है । ईशान कोण की बात करें तो इस दिशा को तो वास्तु में हल्का और खुला रखने की बात कही गई है अतः यहाँ सीढ़ियां बनवाना अत्यंत हानिकारक सिद्ध हो सकता है। ऐसा करने से पेशेगत दिक्कतें,धनहानि या क़र्ज़ में डूबने जैसी समस्याएं सामने आती हैं एवं बच्चों का कॅरिअर बाधित होता है।

कैसे सीढ़ियां होंगी शुभ-

वास्तुशास्त्र के नियम के अनुसार सीढ़ियों का निर्माण उत्तर से दक्षिण की ओर अथवा पूर्व से पश्चिम दिशा की ओर करवाना चाहिए। जो लोग पूर्व दिशा की ओर से सीढ़ी बनवा रहे हों उन्हें इस बात का ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि सीढ़ी पूर्व दिशा की दीवार से लगी हुई नहीं हो,पूर्वी दीवार और सीढ़ी के मध्य कुछ दूरी अवश्य होनी चाहिए इससे घर वास्तु दोष से मुक्त होता है। शुभ फल की प्राप्ति के लिए ध्यान रहे कि सीढ़ियों की संख्या विषम होनी चाहिए जैसे -5 ,7 ,9 ,11 ,15 ,17 आदि । 

सीढ़ियों के शुरू व अंत में दरवाजा होना वास्तु नियमों के अनुसार होता है लेकिन नीचे का दरवाज़ा ऊपर के दरवाज़े के बराबर या थोड़ा बड़ा हो। इसके अलावा एक सीढ़ी से दूसरी सीढ़ी का अंतर 9  इंच सबसे उपयुक्त माना गया है। किसी भी भवन में सीढ़ियों के निर्माण के समय यह ध्यान में रखना जरूरी है कि चढ़ते समय मुख पश्चिम अथवा दक्षिण दिशा की ओर हो । और उतरते वक्त चेहरा उत्तर या पूर्व की ओर हो।

Stairs have special importance in Vastu.  Earth element predominates in the south-west of the building, that is, in the south-west corner, so building stairs here increases the weight of this direction, which is considered very auspicious in terms of Vastu.  That's why the construction of stairs in this direction is considered best, it increases wealth and keeps health good.  The stairs built in the south cause fame and fortune for the residents.  On the other hand, getting them constructed in the west direction gives beneficial results. If there is a lack of space, then it can be constructed in the north-west or southeast angle as well.

How will the stairs be auspicious?

According to the rules of Vastu Shastra, stairs should be constructed from north to south or east to west direction.  Those who are building a staircase from the east side, they should keep in mind that the staircase should not be attached to the wall of the east direction, there must be some distance between the eastern wall and the staircase, this makes the house free from Vastu defects.  To get auspicious results, keep in mind that the number of stairs should be odd like -5,7,9,11,15,17 etc.

Having a door at the beginning and end of the stairs is according to Vastu rules, but the lower door should be equal to or a little bigger than the upper door.  Apart from this, the difference of 9 inches from one ladder to another is considered most appropriate.  At the time of construction of stairs in any building, it is necessary to keep in mind that while climbing, the face should be towards west or south direction.  And while descending, the face should be towards north or east.
