स्त्रियों के बालों का महत्व.

लम्बे बालों के बिना स्त्रियों की सुन्दरता की कल्पना करना व्यर्थ है। घने, काले, लम्बे, लहराते और चमकते बाल स्त्रियों के सौंदर्य में चार चांद लगा देते हैं। ये स्त्रियों के व्यक्तित्व को ही नहीं निखारते  उनके भाग्य, भविष्य, शुभ और अशुभता को भी दर्शाते हैं। श्रीराम के साथ विवाह के दौरान, माता सुनयना ने सीता जी के बाल बांधते हुए समझाया था, विवाह उपरांत अपने केश सदा बांध कर रखना। बंधे बाल ‘बंधन में रहना’ सिखाते हैं। केवल एकांत में इन्हें अपने पति के लिए खोलना। बंधे हुए बाल संस्कार और मर्यादा को एक सूत्र में पिरोते हैं।

स्त्रियों के बालों का इतिहास अति प्राचीन है। जहां स्त्रियों के लम्बे बाल सौभाग्य का सूचक बने वहीं स्त्रियों के खुले हुए बाल विनाश को दर्शाते हैं। कैकेई ने भरत को राज्य एवं राम को 14 वर्ष का वनवास देने के लिए कोप भवन में, अपने केशों को खोलकर, बिखराकर विलाप किया, राजा दशरथ को विवश कर अपने दो वचन लिए। दु:शासन ने रजस्वला द्रौपदी के खुले हुए बालों पर हाथ डाला, उसको घसीटते हुए सभा भवन में लेकर गया। इन्हीं खुले बालों के अपमान को सम्मान देने के लिए द्रौपदी ने दु:शासन के रक्त से अपने केश धोने का प्रण लिया जिसके कारण लाखों करोड़ों सैनिकों, महारथियों को महाभारत के युद्ध में अपने प्राणों की आहुति देनी पड़ी। महाभारत का युद्ध द्रौपदी के केशों की अहम भूमिका का वर्णन करता है।  

खुले हुए बालों में आकर्षण होता हैं, खुले हुए लम्बे बालों को देखकर पुरुष के मन में काम अग्नि का संचार होने लगता है, गरुड़ पुराण के अनुसार बालों में काम का वास है। बालों को बार-बार स्पर्श नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि बालों में काम की भावना प्रबल होती है। बालों को अशुद्ध माना गया है जिस भोजन में बाल आ जाए वह भोजन खाने के लायक नहीं होता, शुभ कार्य में बालों को बांध कर रखा जाता है। बड़ों के चरण स्पर्श करते समय बालों को चुन्नी अथवा दुपट्टे से ढक लिया जाता है, स्त्रियों के खुले हुए बालों को देखना और उनका बार-बार स्पर्श दोष कारक होता है क्योंकि माता सीता का छल से हरण करते समय रावण ने माता को बालों से पकड़ा था इसलिए रावण का कुल सहित सर्व विनाश हो गया। 

पूजा-पाठ, यज्ञ के समय स्त्रियों को अपने बाल खुले नहीं रखने चाहिएं। बाल खोलकर की गई पूजा को देवता स्वीकार नहीं करते और रुष्ट हो जाते हैं जिससे दुर्भाग्य को परिवार के अन्दर प्रवेश करने का मार्ग मिल जाता है। तामसिक कार्यों, वशीकरण में बालों को खुला रखा जाता है। 

साध्वियां-साधु-संत अपने बालों को प्रतिक्षण बांध कर ढक कर रखते हैं। चाणक्य ने नंदवंश का विनाश करने के लिए अपनी शिखा खोल कर प्रतिज्ञा की थी। उसके उपरांत ही चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य को राजा बनाया और नंदवंश का नाश किया था।

आज पश्चिमी सभ्यता को अपनाने से स्त्रियों में खुले बाल रखने का प्रचलन बढ़ गया है। बालों का बार-बार टूटना शुभ नहीं माना जाता, घर में कलह पैदा करता है इसलिए बालों को बांध कर रखना चाहिए क्योंकि खुले हुए बाल जब टूट कर इधर-उधर बिखरते हैं तो नकारात्मक ऊर्जा आती है। जब चन्द्रमा की कलाएं घटती हैं तो सीधा मन पर प्रभाव डालती हैं इसलिए उस दौरान अविवाहित कन्याओं के खुले हुए बाल नकारात्मक शक्तियों को आमंत्रित करते हैं तथा ऊपरी बाधाएं हवाएं उन पर अपना प्रभाव डालती हैं। 

रात्रि में सोते समय कुछ स्त्रियां अपने बंधे हुए बालों को खोल कर सोती हैं जिससे ‘पुराणों’ के अनुसार व्यक्तित्व पर द्वेषपूर्ण प्रभाव पड़ता है, नकारात्मक ऊर्जा सक्रिय हो जाती है। स्त्रियां अगर सिर के काले बालों को पिरामिड नुमा बनाकर सिर के ऊपरी ओर रखती हैं तो, बंधे हुए बाल सूर्य से निकली किरणों को अवशोषित करके शरीर के लिए ऊर्जा ग्रहण कर लेते हैं जिससे उनके शरीर और मुख पर चमक आ जाती है। 

बालों और राहु के बीच बताया गया है गहरा संबंध,

मालूम हो कि भोजन करते समय थाली में बाल का मिलना शुभ नहीं माना जाता। कहते हैं कि ऐसा कुंडली में राहु की दशा कमजोर होने पर होता है।

आपने कई ऐसे लोगों को देखा होगा जिनके सिर के बाल हमेशा ऊपर की ओर खड़े रहते हैं। ज्योतिष की मानें तो इन पर मंगल और राहु का संयुक्त रूप से प्रभाव पड़ता है। कहा जाता है कि ऐसी दशा में व्यक्ति का भाग्य कमजोर हो जाता है। ऐसे में इन लोगों को अपने प्रयासों में सफलता नहीं मिलती। कहते हैं कि मंगलवार के दिन गरीब लोगों को भोजन कराने से मंगल की दशा मजबूत होती है। इसके साथ ही मंगलवार के दिन दान करने को भी शुभ माना गया है।

ज्योतिष के मुताबिक शुक्र को सौंदर्य का कारक ग्रह माना जाता है. इस ग्रह की कमजोर स्थिति की वजह से समय से पहले बाल सफेद हो सकते हैं. शुक्र ग्रह के कमजोर होने का कारण उसका किसी पाप ग्रह के साथ संयोग बनाना होता है. जब शुक्र ग्रह मंगल, शनि, राहू या केतू के साथ राशि में विराजमान होता है, तब बाल सफेद होने की दिक्कत हो सकती है. इसके अलावा जब शुक्र ग्रह कुंडली के 6वें, 8वें या 12वें भाव में होता है तब भी इसका असर बालों पर होता है.

गुरु ग्रह का भी पड़ता है असर

बालों के सफेद होने की एक वजह गुरु ग्रह का मजबूत होना भी हो सकता है. जब किसी व्यक्ति की कुंडली में गुरु ग्रह मजबूत स्थिति में होता है, तब भी उसके बाल समय से पहले सफेद हो सकते हैं. जब वृहस्पति मजबूत स्थिति में होता है तब व्यक्ति आध्यात्मिकता की ओर जाने लगता है. इससे वो अपने शरीर का ख्याल नहीं रखता, जिस वजह से उसके बाल सफेद हो जाते हैं

सूर्य और चंद्रमा का कमजोर होना भी है एक कारण

ज्योतिष में सूर्य ग्रह को भी बालों का कारक ग्रह माना गया है. इसके साथ ही सूर्य तेज का भी कारक ग्रह है. जब ये कमजोर होता है यानि तुला, मकर या कुंभ राशि में होता है, तब बाल सफेद हो जाते हैं. इसके अलावा चंद्रमा की कमजोर स्थिति भी सफेद बाल होने का कारण है. जब चंद्रमा सूर्य, मंगल और राहु के साथ एक राशि में होते हैं, तो उसकी शीतलता कम हो जाती है. जिससे वो कमजोर हो जाता है.
