क्या है तत्व नियमज्योतिष के अनुसार पृ‍थ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु और आकाश ये पांच तत्व होते हैं. जल और अग्नि तत्व को आपस में शत्रु माना गया है. अग्नि और वायु में सामान्य मित्रता होती है. वायु और जल के बीच भी संबंध ठीक-ठाक होते हैं. वहीं आकाश तत्व की कोई राशि नहीं है. इसी तरह से तत्वों के मेल के आधार पर यह पता चलता है कि इन तत्वों से संबंधित राशियों का संबंध एक-दूसरे के बीच कैसा रहेगा. जानते हैं इसके बारे में विस्तार से.

वायु तत्व: वायु तत्व का अधिमित्र अग्नि, जल मित्र और पृथ्वी शत्रु है.

जल तत्व: जल तत्व का अधिमित्र पृथ्वी है, वायु मित्र है और अग्नि शत्रु है.

अग्नि तत्व राशियांमेष, सिंह और धनु इन तीनों राशियों का तत्व अग्नि है, इसलिए इनका स्वभाव उग्र और गर्मजोशी मिजाज वाला होता है. इन तीनों राशि के बीच आपस में खूब अच्छी मित्रता होती है. इसके अलावा वायु तत्व वाली राशियां मिथुन, तुला और कुंभ से भी इनकी अच्छी मित्रता होता है. लेकिन पृथ्वी तत्व राशि वाले लोग वृष, कन्या और मकर राशि के लोग इनके बहुत अच्छे मित्र नहीं होते. वहीं कर्क, वृश्चिक और मीन राशि वालों के साथ इनकी शत्रुता रहती है.

ज्योतिष के अनुसार मित्रता का प्रमुख भाव एकादश भाव है जो आय भाव भी है जिसके जितने अच्छे मित्र होंगे, आय भाव उतना ही मजबूत होगा। अन्यथा कमजोर होगा। इस भाव में यदि सूर्य हो तो ऐसे जातक की उच्च पदासीन, सत्तासीन व राजनीतिक लोगों से मित्रता होगी। चंद्रमा इस भाव में होने पर मित्र कलाकार, वायुयान चालक, जहाज के कैप्टन, नाविक आदि मित्र होंगे। यदि एकादश भाव में मंगल है तो मित्र खिलाड़ी, पहलवान, कुक आदि प्रकृति के लोग होंगे व बुध इस भाव में होने पर व्यावसायिक वृत्ति के लोग, गुरु इस भाव में होने पर बैंकिंग, वित्त धार्मिक आस्था, दार्शनिक आदि मित्र होंगे। शुक्र इस भाव में होने पर अभिनय क्षेत्र, स्त्री जातक, कलाकार आदि मित्रों की संख्या अधिक होगी। शनि एकादश भाव में होने पर नौकरी पेशा, सेवावृत्ति, अपनी आयु से अधिक उम्र वाले लोगों से मैत्री संबंध होते हैं। यदि इस भाव में राहु या केतू हो तो ऐसे व्यक्ति के छद्म मित्रों व अपनी जाति से इतर लोगों से मित्रों की संख्या अधिक होती है। वह अपने लोगों से दूर-दूर रहता है।
