ईश्वर को प्रकाश पुंज कहा जाता हैं, इसीलिए हिन्दू धर्म में किसी भी शुभ कार्य, पूजा के समय, मंदिर में या फिर घर आंगन में हर कोई देवी देवताओं के सम्मुख उनके तत्व के आधार पर दीपक जलाते ही हैं । अगर भी अपने ईष्ट को प्रसन्न करना चाहते है तो जाने कौन सा और कितनी बत्ती वाला दीपक जलाने से ईश्वर प्रसन्न होकर कपा बरसाते हैं ।

इन देवताओं को इतनी बत्ती वाला दीपक जलाएं

1- माँ भगवती को प्रसन्न करने के लिए तिल के तेल का दीपक में मौली की बाती लगाकर जलाना उत्तम माना गया है ।

2- ईष्ट देवताओं को प्रसन्न करने के लिए देसी गाय के घी का दीपक जलाना चाहिए ।

3- जब किसी शत्रु का शमन करने के लिए साधना करे तो उस समय सरसों एवं चमेली के तेल का दीपक जलाने से कार्य पूर्ण हो जाते है ।

4- सूर्य नारायण भगवान की पूजा में 7 बत्तियों वाले दीपक को जलाने का विशेष महत्व है ।

5- माता भगवती दुर्गा की पूजा में को 9 बत्तियों वाला दीपक सर्वोत्तम माना गया है ।

6- हनुमानजी एवं शंकरजी कि प्रसन्नता के लिए इनकी पूजा में पांच बत्तियों वाला दीपक जलाने का विधान है । इससे इन देवताओं की कृपा शीघ्र प्राप्त हो जाती है ।

7- दीपक जलाते समय उसके नीचे सप्तधान्य (सात अनाज) रखने से सब प्रकार के कष्टों से मुक्ति मिलती है ।

8- यदि दीपक जलाते समय उसके नीचे गेहूं रखें तो धन धान्य की वृद्धि होती है ।

9- यदि दीपक जलाते समय उसके नीचे चावल रखें तो महालक्ष्मी की कृपा प्राप्त होगी  

10- यदि दीपक के नीचे काले तिल या उड़द रखें तो स्वयं माँ काली भैरवी, शनि, दस, दिक्पाल, क्षेत्रपाल हमारी रक्षा करते हैं ।

11- जलते दीपक के अंदर अगर गुलाब की पंखुड़ी या लौंग रखें, तो जीवन अनेक प्रकार की सुगंधियों से भर उठेगा ।

इसलिए कहा जाता है कि दीपक के नीचे किसी न किसी अनाज को अवश्य रखना ही चाहिए ।

अनुष्ठानों में इन धातुओं के दीपक का महत्व

वैसे तो हर प्रकार की पूजाओं में मिट्टी के दीपकों का सबसे ज्यादा लाभ बताया गया है । लेकिन नवरात्रि या विभिन्न इच्छाओं की पूर्तियों के लिए किये जाने वाले अनुष्ठान में पांच दीपक प्रज्जवलित करने का बहुत महत्व है । इनमें सोना, चांदी, कांसा, तांबा, लोहा आदि धातुओं का प्रयोग होता है । धन के आभाव में पांचों दीपक तांम्बे के भी हो सकते हैं । जीवन के लिए प्राणीमात्र को प्रकाश चाहिए, क्योंकि बिना प्रकाश के कोई भी कोई कार्य नहीं कर सकता ।

धातु के दीपक और उनसे सफल होने वाली मनोकामना एंव कुण्डली में जो ग्रह कमजोर हो उस धातु का दीपक पूजा में इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए ।

सोने का दीपक

सोने के दीपक में सूर्य व गुरु का वास होता है । सोने के दीपक को पूजा वेदी के मध्य भाग में गेहूं का आसन देकर चारों तरफ लाल कमल या गुलाब के फूल की पंखुड़ियां बिखेर कर स्थापित करें इसमें गाय का शुद्ध घी डालें तथा रूई की लंबी बत्ती लगाकर इसका मुख पूर्व दिशा की ओर रखें । इससे हर प्रकार की उन्नति तथा बुद्धि में निरंतर वृद्धि होती रहेगी ।

चांदी का दीपक

चांदी के दीपक में चन्द्र व शुक्र का वास होता है । चांदी के दीपक को चावलों का आसन देकर सफेद गुलाब या अन्य सफेद फूलों की पंखुड़ियों को चारों तरफ बिखेर कर पूर्व दिशा में स्थापित करें, इसमें गाय का शुद्ध देशी घी का ही प्रयोग करें । चांदी का दीपक जलाने से घर में सात्विक धन की वृद्धि होगी ।

तांबे का दीपक

तांम्बे के दीपक में मंगल का वास होता है । तांबे के दीपक को लाल मसूर की दाल का आसन देकर चारों तरफ लाल फूलों की पंखुड़ियों को बिखेर कर दक्षिण दिशा में स्थापित करें, इसमें तिल का तेल डालें और रूई की लंबी बत्ती जलाए । तांबे के दीपक में तिल का तेल डालने से मनोबल में वृद्धि होगी तथा अनिष्टों का नाश होगा ।

कांसे का दीपक

कांसे में बुध का वास होता हैं । कांसे के दीपक को चने की दाल का आसन देकर तथा चारों तरफ पीले फूलों की पंखुड़ियां बिखेर कर उत्तर दिशा में स्थापित करें, इसमें तिल का तेल डालें, कांसे का दीपक जलाने से धन की स्थिरता बनी रहती है अर्थात् जीवन भर पर्याप्त धन बना रहता है ।

लोहे का दीपक

लोहे के दीपक में शनि का वास होता है । लोहे के दीपक को उड़द की दाल का आसन देकर चारों तरफ कालें या गहरे नीले रंग के पुष्पों की पंखुड़ियां बिखेर कर पश्चिम दिशा में स्थापित करें । इसमें सरसों का तेल डालें, लोहे के दीपक में सरसों के तेल की ज्योति जलाने से अनिष्ट तथा दुर्घटनाओं से बचाव हो जाता है ।

दीपक जलाने का सही समय और दिशा क्या है

पूजा के दौरान दीपक जलाने के लिए सर्वोत्तम समय सुबह 5 बजे से 10 बजे तक और शाम को 5 बजे से 7 बजे के बीच में जलाना शुभ है. दीपक पूर्व दिशा की ओर या उत्तर दिशा की ओर रखना शुभ माना जाता है

पूजा के दौरान दीपक की लो में फूल बनने का ये मतलब

दीपक की लो में फूल बनने का मतलब है कि आपकी पूजा आपके ईष्टदेव तक पहुंच रही है।

दीपक की लो में फूल बनने का अर्थ है कि आपके ईष्टदेव की कृपा दृष्टि आपके ऊपर जरुर बनेगी।

दीपक की लो में फूल बनने का मतलब है कि आपकी पूजा आपके ईष्टदेव तक पहुंच रही है। यानि इस प्रकार दीपक की लो में अगर फूल बनता है तो ये आपकी पूजा आपके ईष्ट तक पहुंचने का संकेत है और उनकी कृपा दृष्टि आपके ऊपर जरुर बनेगी। वो किसी ना किसी रुप में, प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से आपके साथ हैं और आपके कार्यों में आपकी सहायता कर रहे हैं और आपके हर कार्य को बना रहे हैं।

वहीं अनेक लोग सोचते हैं कि मेरी पूजा के दौरान दीपक में ऐसी ही लो बन रही है और मैं फिर भी परेशान हूं। आपकी परेशानी का कारण ये है कि आप कहीं ना कहीं उस ईष्ट को मानने में कमी महसूस करते हैं। आप उनकी और भक्ति करोगे या उनको समर्पित हो जाओगे तो आपके सारे काम बनने लगेंगे। आप काम नहीं कर रहे हैं, आपके मन में गलत सी धारणा है, कि जो काम हो रहे हैं वो मेरी वजह से हो रहे हैं या किसी और की वजह से।

अगर दीपक में ऐसा फूल बनता है तो आपको समझ जाना चाहिए कि उस देवी या देवता की कृपा आपके ऊपर हो रही है और आपकी जो पूजा है वह उन तक पहुंच रही है। ये सबसे बड़ा संकेत है कि, पूजा के नियमों के साथ अगर आप पूजा को पूर्णरुप से और भक्ति भाव से करते हो, हालांकि साधनाओं में ऐसा बहुत कम होता है, लेकिन भक्ति मार्ग में ऐसा होता है कि बहुत सारे लोगों की पूजा भगवान तक पहुंचती है और उनकी ख्वाइशें भी पूरी होती हैं, उनकी मनोकामनाएं पूरी होती हैं। उनके घर से दुख, क्लेश सब मिट जाता है। किसी भी प्रकार का लड़ाई-झगड़ा घर में नहीं रहता। स्वत: ही भगवान खुद प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप में उनकी सहायता करते हैं।

क्या करें

अगर ऐसा आपके साथ होता है और आपके दीपक में भी ऐसा ही फूल बनता है तो आपको धर्म और पुण्य का काम करना चाहिए।

आपको गाय को चारा आदि खिलाना चाहिए।

आपको कुत्तों और जानवरों को बिस्किट-रोटी खिलानी चाहिए।

आपको कबूतरों और पक्षियों को दाना डालना चाहिए। इससे आपको और सकारात्मक फल देखने को मिलेंगे।

God is called the light beam, that is why in Hindu religion for any auspicious work, at the time of worship, in the temple or in the courtyard of the house, everyone lights a lamp in front of the deities on the basis of their element.  Even if you want to please your Ishta, then by lighting a lamp of which and how many lights, God is pleased and showers Kapha.

Light a lamp with such a light to these deities

1- To please Goddess Bhagwati, it is considered best to burn sesame oil in a lamp by putting a wick of molly.

2- In order to please the deities, a lamp of desi cow's ghee should be lit.

3- When one does spiritual practice to quell an enemy, then by lighting a lamp of mustard and jasmine oil, the work gets completed.

4- Lighting a 7-lit lamp in the worship of Lord Surya Narayan has special significance.

5- In the worship of Goddess Bhagwati Durga, a lamp with 9 lights is considered to be the best.

6- For the happiness of Hanumanji and Shankarji, there is a law to light a five-lit lamp in their worship.  By this the blessings of these deities are obtained quickly.

7- While lighting the lamp, keeping Saptdhanya (seven grains) under it gives freedom from all kinds of troubles.

8- If wheat is kept under it while lighting the lamp, then there is an increase in the amount of food grains.

9- If you keep rice under it while lighting the lamp, then you will get the blessings of Mahalakshmi.

10- If black sesame or urad is kept under the lamp, then Mother Kali Bhairavi, Shani, Das, Dikpal, Kshetrapal themselves protect us.

11- If you keep rose petals or cloves inside the burning lamp, then life will be filled with many types of fragrances.

That is why it is said that some grain must be kept under the lamp.

Importance of these metal lamps in rituals

By the way, the maximum benefit of earthen lamps has been told in all types of worship.  But lighting five lamps is of great importance in Navaratri or rituals performed for the fulfillment of various desires.  Metals like gold, silver, bronze, copper, iron etc. are used in this.  In the absence of money, the five lamps can also be of copper.  All living beings need light for life, because without light no one can do any work.

Metal lamps and those planets which are weak in their wishes and horoscope should be used in worship of that metal lamp.

gold lamp

The Sun and the Guru reside in the gold lamp.  Place a gold lamp in the central part of the worship altar by giving a seat of wheat, scattering petals of red lotus or rose flower all around, pour pure cow's ghee into it and keep it facing east by applying a long cotton light.  Due to this all kinds of progress and intellect will continue to grow continuously.

silver lamp

Moon and Venus reside in a silver lamp.  Place a silver lamp as a seat of rice, scattering petals of white roses or other white flowers and setting it in the east direction, use only pure country ghee of cow.  By lighting a silver lamp, there will be an increase in the sattvik wealth in the house.

copper lamp

Mars resides in the copper lamp.  Place a copper lamp with a seat of red lentils and spread petals of red flowers all around and set it in the south direction, pour sesame oil in it and light a long cotton light.  By pouring sesame oil in a copper lamp, morale will increase and evil will be destroyed.

bronze lamp

Mercury resides in bronze.  Place a bronze lamp with a seat of gram lentils and spread the petals of yellow flowers in the north direction, pour sesame oil in it.  .

iron lamp

Saturn resides in an iron lamp.  Put an iron lamp on the seat of urad dal and place it in the west direction by scattering petals of black or dark blue flowers all around.  Put mustard oil in it, lighting the flame of mustard oil in an iron lamp prevents bad luck and accidents.

What is the right time and direction to light the lamp

The best time to light the lamp during the puja is from 5 am to 10 am and in the evening between 5 pm to 7 pm.  It is considered auspicious to keep the lamp towards east or north direction.

This means of becoming a flower in the low of the lamp during worship

Being a flower in the lamp means that your worship is reaching your presiding deity.

To become a flower in the low of the lamp means that the grace of your Ishta Dev will definitely be on you.

Being a flower in the lamp means that your worship is reaching your presiding deity.  That is, if a flower is formed in the low of the lamp in this way, then it is a sign of your worship reaching your Ishta and his blessings will definitely be on you.  They are with you in one way or the other, directly or indirectly, and are helping you in your work and making your every work.

If such a flower is formed in the lamp, then you should understand that the grace of that goddess or deity is on you and your worship is reaching them.  This is the biggest sign that, with the rules of worship, if you do the worship completely and with devotion, although this happens very rarely in sadhanas, but in the path of devotion it happens that the worship of many people reaches to God.  And their wishes are also fulfilled, their wishes are fulfilled.  All sorrows and sorrows vanish from his house.  Any kind of fight and quarrel does not remain in the house.  The Lord Himself automatically helps them either directly or indirectly.

What to do

If this happens to you and a similar flower is formed in your lamp, then you should do the work of religion and virtue.

You should feed the cow fodder etc.

You should feed biscuit-bread to dogs and animals.

You should feed pigeons and birds.  This will give you more positive results.
