लेकिन फिर भी कई लोग ऐसे हैं जो शौकिया तौर पर एक ही कान छिदवाते हैं। हालांकि नियम दोनों ही कान छिदवाने का है। कान छिदवाने से राहु और केतु के बुरे प्रभाव का असर खत्म होता है। जीवन में आने वाले आकस्मिक संकटों का कारण राहु और केतु ही होते हैं इसलिए कान छिदवाना जरूरी है। तो चलिए अब कान छिदवाने के वैज्ञानिक फायदे आपको बताते हैं। कान छिदवाने से मस्तिष्क में रक्त का संचार सही प्रकार से होता है। इससे बौद्धिक योग्यता बढ़ती है। मान्यता के अनुसार कान छिदवाने से व्यक्ति के रूप में निखार आता है। इससे आंखों की रोशनी तेज होती है। दरअसल, कान के निचले हिस्से में एक प्वॉइंट होता है। इस प्वॉइंट के पास से आंखों की नसे गुजरती हैं।

वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों के अनुसार जिस जगह कान छिदवाया जाता है वहां पर दो बहुत जरूरी एक्यूप्रेशर प्वाइंट्स मौजूद होते हैं। पहला मास्टर सेंसोरियल और दूसरा मास्टर सेरेब्रल जो कि सुनने की क्षमता को बढ़ाते हैं। इस बारे में एक्यूपंक्चर में कहा गया है कि जब कान छिदवाए जाते हैं तो इसका दबाव ओसीडी पर पड़ता है, जिसके कारण घबराहट कम होती है और कई तरह की मानसिक बीमारियां भी दूर हो जाती हैं।

कान को छिदवाने का सही तरीका :

पारंपरिकतरीके से किसी भी शिशु का कान सड़क के किनारे बैठने वाले किसी प्रशिक्षित कारीगर या फिर किसी सुनार से ही छिदवाना चाहियें. ऐसा करने से शिशु को किसी भी तरह के रोग के होने का खतरा खत्म हो जाता है.  

 इसके अलावा कान को छेड़ने के लिए आप किसी सुई का या फिर आप किसी गन का इस्तेमाल करें, साथ ही आप इस बात को जरुर जांच लो कि वो उपकरण किसी भी तरह से संक्रमित ना हो.

कानो को कर्ण पालि के केन्द्र में ही छेदा जाना चाहियें, कान को छेड़ने वाले किसी अनुभवी व्यक्ति को इस जगह का पता होता है और वो इसे आसानी से इसका पता लगा कर कान को छेद देते है.

कान को छेड़ने से पहले कारीगर को शिशु के कान पर किसी पेन या मार्कर से चिह्न नही बनाना चाहियें, क्योकि पेन की स्याही कान में जलन को पैदा करती है. 

आप जिससे भी कानो को छिदवायें पर इस प्रक्रिया को शुरू करने से पहले आप उसे अपने हाथो को धोने या फिर सर्जिकल दस्तानो को पहनने के लिए जरुर कहें.
