 ज्योतिष में बृहस्पति और शुक्र को तारे कहा गया है। जब गुरु और शुक्र अस्त हो तो कोई भी शुभ कार्य नहीं होता है। इसे तारा दुबना कहते हैं। ये दोनों ही शुभ ग्रह हैं और ये किसी भी शुभ कार्य को करने में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। गुरु जहां एक ओर शिक्षा, संतान और बुद्धि का कारक है वहीं शुक्र सुख-समृद्धि देने वाला है। यदि ये दोनों ग्रह अस्त हों तो कोई भी कार्य हमें शुभ फल नहीं देता है।

 आइए विस्तार से जानते हैं क्या है तारा डूबने का रहस्य

 ज्योतिष शास्त्र में इसका उल्लेख मिलता है। ऋग्वेद के कई सूक्तों से संकेत मिलता है कि हर बीस महीने की अवधि के दौरान, शुक्र पूर्व में नौ महीने सुबह चमकता हुआ दिखाई देता था। इसी के आधार पर ऋषि-महर्षि आदि स्नान-ध्यान का समय ज्ञात करते थे। इसके साथ ही वह अपने दिन-प्रतिदिन के कार्यों को समय पर सुचारू रूप से संपादित करते थे।

 यह वैदिक साहित्य से बृहस्पति और शुक्र के उदय के संबंध में भी जाना जाता है। गुरु दो तीन महीने तक शुक्र की परिक्रमा करते थे। इस दौरान बृहस्पति कुछ दिनों तक शुक्र के काफी करीब रहता है। शुक्र की अपनी प्राकृतिक तेज गति के कारण बृहस्पति पिछड़ जाता है। शुक्र पूर्व दिशा में चलते हुए आगे बढ़ता है। फलस्वरूप शुक्र ग्रह पूर्व दिशा की ओर उदित होता है। इस कार्य प्रणाली से पहले यह निश्चित है कि ये दोनों ग्रह कुछ समय तक एक साथ रहे।

 शुक्र ग्रह पृथ्वी से सोलह मिलियन मील और सूर्य से 70 मिलियन मील की ऊंचाई पर है। इसमें पानी की मात्रा अधिक होने के कारण इसका रंग सफेद होता है। शुक्र का अर्थ है पानी देने वाला। पुरुष अपने बल के अनुसार अर्द्ध बलवान या दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति वाला होता है। यही कारण है कि शाम और कभी सुबह के समय आकाश में चमकने के कारण शाम और सुबह के तारे को तारा कहा जाता है। जब शुक्र ग्रह पृथ्वी के दूसरी ओर चला जाता है तो इसे शुक्र का अस्त या डूब जाना कहते हैं।

 तारा डूबने के समय निम्न कार्य नहीं करने चाहिए ...

 तारा अस्त होने पर विवाह, नामकरण, अन्नप्राशन, मुंडन आदि नहीं करना चाहिए।

 नया मकान, भवन का निर्माण और गृह प्रवेश आदि नहीं करना चाहिए।

 किसी ऐसे तीर्थ स्थान पर नहीं जाना चाहिए जहां आप पहले कभी नहीं गए हों।

 यदि कोई सरकारी कार्य ठप है तो तारा अस्त होने पर किसी उच्च सरकारी व्यक्ति के पास न जाएं। नहीं तो काम पूरा नहीं होता।

 कोई उपवास या उसकी समाप्ति नहीं करनी चाहिए।

 मंदिर में मूर्ति की स्थापना भी नहीं करनी चाहिए।

 इस दौरान किसी भी विदेश यात्रा पर नहीं जाना चाहिए।

 घर या ऑफिस में कोई भी

 पूजा या हवन नहीं करना चाहिए।

 वैसे कहा गया है कि ये सभी काम बृहस्पति और शुक्र अस्त होने के तीन दिन पहले या तीन दिन बाद भी नहीं करना चाहिए. इस दौरान दोनों ग्रह कमजोर हैं।

 किसी भी ग्रह की अस्त अवस्था उस समय आती है जब कोई ग्रह सूर्य के साथ युति करके किसी विशेष राशि में पहुंच जाता है। सूर्य के प्रभाव से उस ग्रह की चमक फीकी पड़ जाती है और वे शक्तिहीन हो जाते हैं।

 शुक्र की उपस्थिति को बहुत महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है। इसका मुख्य कारण शुक्र ग्रह सुख-समृद्धि का कारक है। यही कारण है कि शुक्र ग्रह का अस्त होना सभी प्रकार के शुभ कार्यों में परित्यक्त माना जाता है।

 Venus is at an altitude of sixteen million miles from Earth and 70 million miles from the Sun.  Due to the high water content in it, its color is white.  Shukra means giver of water.  A man is half-strong or strong-willed according to his strength.  This is the reason why the evening and morning stars are called stars because they shine in the sky in the evening and sometimes in the morning.  When the planet Venus moves to the other side of the earth, it is called the setting or sinking of Venus.

 The following things should not be done when the star is setting.

 Marriage, naming, annaprashan, mundan etc. should not be done when the star is setting.

 New house, construction of building and house entry etc. should not be done.

 Do not go to any pilgrimage place where you have never been before.
